In 123 years of Indianapolis Indians history,
one story is most important:
Yours.
We’re looking forward by looking back. We want to hear your favorite moment from over six generations of Indians baseball. Whether you want to tell us about your experiences at Bush Stadium or Victory Field or you want to share a photo or upload a video to visually demonstrate your history with us, we’d love to hear from you.
For over a century, the Indians have been the beating heart of the Indianapolis sports community. And no look back is complete without the voices of you, our fans.

Torwudzo Family Story
Sparks fly at Victory Field
Taylor and Charles met at Victory Field in 2015 when Taylor was working as an in-stadium emcee for the Indians. Indians games and Victory Field have always felt like home for the couple, as the field signifies the start of their love story. Not only has the home of the Indians provided the setting that sparked their relationship, but it has become an entertainment staple as their family has grown to include their daughter, Normani. The Torwudzo family takes any opportunity to bring friends and family to the ballpark, and love that it’s a great place to be with family.
The Story of Our Home
From East Washington to West Maryland
When Indianapolis baseball fans think about the Indians, they no doubt think about Victory Field; but, before we made Victory Field our home in 1996, Washington Park and Bush Stadium served as our home diamond for almost a century. Our 123-year history has seen stadium expansions, developed trademark ivy fences and watched the evolution of the game of baseball within the very ballparks we call home.

The Kerry Smith Collection
The Spirit of Indians Fandom
Passion is the only accurate word to describe Indians superfan, Kerry Smith. Since 1986, Kerry and his wife, Rita, have been season-ticket holders, first at Bush Stadium before moving with the team to Victory Field in 1996. Kerry is also a meticulous collector of authentic Indians memorabilia, including championship rings and the last complete game-worn uniform of Indians legend, Razor Shines. The passion brought by fans like Kerry is a cornerstone of the Indians organization.
Hall of Fame Pedigree
Baseball Greatness in Indianapolis
Induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame is the biggest honor for every baseball player. A hall of fame player representing your favorite team is itself an honor as well. Needless to say, the Indians know a thing or two about baseball greatness. Some of the game’s greats including Randy Johnson, Larry Walker, Harmon Killebrew and many more have all donned an Indians jersey throughout the years and represented a long-standing Indianapolis baseball legacy.
